David Moser

David Moser is a sculptor whose work focuses on proletarian and queer cultural codes embedded within prosaic objects to explore how individual and political bodies are represented. Often centred on the traces of use, left behind on objects by their former owners, he reappropriates everyday materials such as glass, stickers, doormats, screws, sunglasses, construction lasers, sheet metal, aluminium profiles and fast food restaurant furniture to form parts of installations that highlight a failure, a loss, or a disparity in the context of psychological and class issues.
